It's something that's done at pretty much ever message board I've ever been at. But, well, I haven't seen it here yet. (and I've been lurking since early July)......

so c'mon kids..... let's see what your purdy little desktop looks like! (cluttered or uncluttered... your choice!) (I'm a giver, what can I say)

So open Grab, snap a shot, upload it somewhere and give'r a go!

anyways, to start of, here's-a-mine

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...sktop10_04.jpg

pretty non-descript, I know, but I'm not one for huge splashes of color.... I'm a mono-chromatic fella, what can I say?

and yes, I am paging-out with only iTunes and Grab open. I should be ashamed.

I feel dirty.

(That's what I get for having 10.2.8 on a G3 500mhz iMac)

*sigh*

anyways, some one else is up, sooooooooo... take 'er away!

NUMBER ONE RULE:

If your image is greater than 700 pixels wide, it is subject to deletion.

Crop it, scale it, thumbnail it, link it. I don't care which you choose, but do at least one of them. Remember that there are a lot of folks that are still limited to a 1024*768 screen and your mammoth images stretch these pages and make the forums look like hell on small screens.

Also, this is not an AppleOutsider subject. Have you been having trouble reading the descriptions, Nullpunkt? AppleOutsider is for... wait... I'll quote it... "Discussion of everything other than technology."

Moving to General Discussion.

well, thanks.

i made the grievous error of attaching [IMG] tags instead of [url] tags....

twas a colossal brainfart, and well, as for the time delay, that's what i get for stepping away from the computer to do the laundry.

Yes Yes, i'm a petty unworthy fool.....

and perhaps I should not refer to Safari's history when creating a new thread.

But I am human, and i am prone to error.

i'll say it before anyone else does:

Nothing against him or his thread, but I only like two redundancies in my life; sex partners and data.

Hey, an inconsiderate illiterate noob is still an inconsiderate illiterate noob whether he can write an article or not.

I kid because I love! Or do I?

BOOF!

And with the wave of his oversized, red boxing glove, the great one locks the thread in an instant, providing a link to the existing thread.

And the people rejoiced.
