On more than one occassion, parts (sometimes up to half) of my posts disappear when they are processed by vB. It doesn't matter if I am previewing the post or actually posting it. It's just *poof* gone.
I'm using Mozilla 1.3 on MacOS 9.2 if that is any help... edit: BTW, I never had a problem over at AI.com, so maybe it's a problem with vB 3.0.3? I don't know. Just thought that might be relevant info. |

Edit: Obviously, I posted this message to the wrong thread. Sorry.
Maybe it's time for a nap? Last edited by Stroszek : 2004-07-24 at 14:51. |

You're the first to report such a problem. So, I suspect it's a problem on your end.
If you can manage to figure out a pattern or give some other details, I might can look into it. FWIW, you don't have any posts waiting in the moderation queue. The quality of this board depends on the quality of the posts. The only way to guarantee thoughtful, informative discussion is to write thoughtful, informative posts. AppleNova is not a real-time chat forum. You have time to compose messages and edit them before and after posting. |

Perhaps so. My computer may just be choking on my more verbose posts. I'll start keeping notes about when it does it to see if I can detect a pattern. It doesn't happen very often, I just happened to decide to comment on it when it happened today. No biggie.
