two models.

20" and 24" Both Glossy displays (Don't know what to think of this)

Aluminum and Glass.

That's all I got right now.

This will eventually capture everything.

Well, it looks nice, but I'm not thrilled about glossy being the only display option. It's crazy freakin' thin, too. And, yes, the keyboard was legit.

Maybe that *was* the foreplay. Maybe he's saving something amazing for the end. Apple events are like porno -- everybody's just there for the money shot.

He's moving on to software now. New iLife, perhaps?

[edit] Yep, they're replacing one of the iLife apps...

What the hell is a Radeon HD?

Why aren't they just using the nVidia Geforce 8600 from the MBP? That's about the best mobile chip out there right now which doesn't kill the bank manager.

So, I guess this means that Apple is going away from visually seperating the Pro and Consumer lines? No more white for consumer?

I guess that's good, a unified product line, but i liked the white.

That black border around the display might be necessary but it sure as hell looks silly!

I just noticed that these have FireWire 800 on them too. Wasn't that a Pro-only thing before?

And, who changed my title? The date's wrong.

There was FireWire 800 on the 24" iMac already.

I'm really wondering about glossy display.

Did they do a marketing research and found that lot more people prefer glossy over matte?

Could there be a dichotomy between geeks and regular users; that is, regular users prefer glossy, and since they outnumber nerds (e.g. us), they trump?

I hope the new keyboard will be actually easy to clean...

Also is it good thing to have keyboard so low? Doesn't it put more strain if you have to lower your hands too much?

Fine by me. I have a meeting at 2 (eastern), so I'll be happy if he finishes around 1:45.

Of course, I'd also be happy if it went until 8 PM because there was just so freakin' much he couldn't get it all into an hour.
