If I were to write software to do something, what would you want that something to do?

I'm trying to figure out what I should work on, and I'm coming up blank on ideas. Any software I write for the Mac will be freeware, and up for free on my website.

Thanks,
Krientle

I'd start with mimicking something that is already out there, for example you could try to merge fuzzy clock and MenuCalandar clock into one compact menubar utility. It's a "small" project that will let you gauge how much work mac freeware entails... (and from what I read, it is a lot of work.)
