I am trying to open a screensaver and it opens in OS 9. Is there any way to override this and have it open in OS X? Thanks.

If it opens in OS 9, it's probably not meant for Mac OS X.
If you get info on the file in the Finder, what does it say by kind? The quality of this board depends on the quality of the posts. It says Classic Application. It's just a screensaver I downloaded.

if its a Classic application, it has to run in the classic environment. You can try contacting the developers to see if they have made/can make an OSX version.

When you download software, be sure is specifically says it's meant for Mac OS X, not just Mac OS. Software sites like MacUpdate can show you only Mac OS X software.
