Can anyone help me? I've got an iPod 20g and have about 10g left to fill on it but only aroung 6g left on my PC hard drive. Can I delete music from my hard drive library to make more space for the remaining music I want to upload without it being removed from my iPod the next time I connect it to the PC?

I'd suggest that before you delete the music, connect the iPod first, then go to iTunes' Preferences page. Under the iPod tab, select the option to 'Manually manage songs and playlists' to disable automatic synchronization. This should keep iTunes from deleting the songs on the iPod after you delete them on the PC.

I learned this lesson the hard way myself a while back...thankfully, I had a backup copy of my music to fall back to, but I made darned sure that I knew how not to do that again.
