i am not sure if the 10.4.3 upgrade broke my .mac mail? but ever since that point i can not send messages; i have no problems receiving mail? there are some people on the apple:support forums that changed the outgoing port number, but that didn't help me? does anyone else have this problem, and if so what is the work around?

Mail works fine with .mac for me on 10.4.3 at home. At work, the port it requires is closed - it's not a "usual" port. Do you have any form of Firewall that could be sitting on it?
