Believe me, I've tried every conceivable way to try and track down exactly which font is used in the body of their privacy message but to no avail. I've tried running it through on-line services but they all give different answers.

I'm not so good with CSS but I imagine the definitive answer is in there.

Can anyone help me?

I'd really appreciate it.

Regards

Adobe Myriad Pro Light. I think Apple uses a slightly tweaked version, but offhand I can't remember if they've ever made that style a public download.

Thanks 709,

I finally found out it was Adobe Myriad Pro. I'm using Adobe Typekit to render the font on a blog, the difference is that the Typekit edition of Myriad Pro seems to have a closer character spacing that Apple's own font. I cannot find a way to achieve a similar effect.

Any way, thanks again.

Maybe you could loosen up the letter-spacing a bit in CSS? I know squat about it, but the bottom of this page seems to indicate that you can do such a thing.

It's probably not going to be perfect, but it may look a bit closer to Apple's tweaked Myriad.

So it goes.

I bet I know less than you.
I will check it out anyway. Thanks again.

Can you copy Apple's CSS file and poke around to see what they did?

You should add screen captures to show the comparison.

Okay, if anyone would like to look, this is where I am right now. Poking through their CSS, Apple seem to a use a variation of Adobe Myriad Pro called 'Myriad Set Pro' in their body element.

This post also seems to back that up - http://bit.ly/1wTha1i

Typekit do not offer 'Myriad Set Pro' but I host on Squarespace and their integration with Typekit is very good. I am currently using their Myriad Pro font (in light weight)

https://typekit.com/fonts/myriad-pro

I had to tweak the CSS on my site a little because the characters seemed too closely spaced.

I've included two screenshots. First is Apple's. Second one is mine. Any help, ideas or suggestions from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

Clearly, there is still a difference but I'm not that clever at things like this. AppleNova is full of people who are.
