Not sure how many of you may have already read about this but MoveOn PAC teamed up with the producer of Apple's switch ads to make similar ads that will be shown during the Republican National Convention. the ads (large Quicktime files) and the Wired article
They cater to the swing voter and may prove to actually be effective, unlike the original switch campaign . There are 17 ads in total, each explaining why they are disappointed with voting for Bush and why they are voting for Kerry in '04. Some of them make some really good points. 1215/234215 (top .51875%) People really have got to stop thinking there is only one operating system, one economic system, one religion, and one business model. -EvilTwinSkippy (/.) Ha! that's great, especially since there have been so many god-awful switch parodies, it's funny that it's gone this far.
edit: eh, they're not as great as I was hoping, too gloomy. |

Well, its not exactly an upbeat topic ... although it would have been pretty funny to hear these ads with the Apple Switch background music .

Wow... Errol Morris made these. He's made some great documentaries.
Edit: Oh... he made the Apple switch ads. Where the hell have I been? Last edited by Akumulator : 2004-08-21 at 10:53. |
