I've been playing NBA Live '98 on a friend's PC laptop during school the past couple days so I've sorta had a classic game craze. I was wondering where I could get some good old games for the mac, but then I realized I don't have OS 9 classic on my powerbook.
so, my question is, where can I get some good classic games (for free) that have been rewritten or ported to run natively in OS X? I really wanna play one of the oregon trails... |

Lemonade Stand is freeware and killed some time the other day.
While at Version Tracker look around. Hopefully you will find something cool. |

HOTU used to have it in it's Macintosh Garden, but they've had domain problems since March and are still offline.
If you've got VirtualApple][ emulator running, you can play the original via disk image (or online with IE) All those who believe in telekinesis, raise my hand. |
