Pages crashes ever time I try to add text to a graphic!
Any solutions? My System: iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013) 2.9 GHz Intel Core i5 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 1024 MB macOS Sierra10.12.6 Pages version 6.3 (5046) |

Try creating a fresh macOS user account — does the problem occur there as well?

I have the same OS and Pages version on this machine I'm using right now. If you tell me the steps you used I'll try to replicate it. (I don't do much in Pages.)
Are you editing a synced document? Where is the image sourced from? I've had issues in the past where the image from Photos/iPhoto caused the document to crash. I'm trying to add text to a already created document, over a graphic. It's a map of a subdivision and I'm trying to add "SOLD" over Lots.
As I add the "SOLDS" over the graphic, it unexpectedly quits before I can save the edited version. The image is sourced from a PDF. Last edited by Tom Marcello : 2017-10-27 at 17:57. |

See if you can try with a different image source. I'm sure you can google a million or so that have proper transparency and such. IOW, overlay an image rather than text.
If the target document is a PDF then you would likely be better off using Preview and annotating in there. I'm sorry but I'm not really clear on what format is which.
