well, perhaps i am the only one who use this function. I dunno. But could anybody explain to me, why the fax app doesn't tell me, IF the transmission went sucácessáful? A little bit more notification please.

Because, to my knowledge at least, there are no fax programs or machines that can give you confirmation that your fax went through. That's why it's always recommended that you call the recipient of the fax to make sure they received it, especially if it's important.

a log file would be quite helpful.
I've found if you send a fax, then while it's "printing", click on the Internal Modem's Printing icon in the dock, you do get some limited feedback while it is dialing, connected, and sending. if the send fails, you'll usually notice the faxmodem awaiting redial, if it succeeds, sometimes you'll notice a microsecond of 'successful' before the window of jobs clears but it's certainly not up to the intuitive UI standards of other Apps |
