Nice ones, guys!

Chinney, I think we've seen one of the dock and watercraft before. Lovely.

Being able to take shots like this one is why I love the 16-35mm F4 VR. Being able to shoot at ISO 100, while stopped down and not having to lug my tripod around on a morning walk is great. (image from my September trip to Vancouver Island).

I love the blacks and greens PB, and the mist. Very much a West Coast feeling.

And yes, AWR, you have seen that dock before in at least one other picture I have posted online here, maybe more. It is a favourite view of mine, with its own changing appearances and moods.

I had the pleasure of working as a still photographer for a movie shoot that happened recently. A friend of mine does short films and this is one of them. Here are a few I took. Most were taken well after dark using set lighting and it was not very easy to get useful images. I'm still shooting with my original Canon Rebel XT!

The house from a field near the street and a few closeups:

In the woods seen to the right of the house in the first picture:

This one was taken with my iPhone 5S:

PB PM, I too like the coloring of that landscape scene. Very nice with the fog and all.

First post in 2014 in this thread - we are getting lazy ...

Been in Brunswick with some friends for a bit of night shooting.
Basically the first time I used my new camera in the field...

What is that thing? Looks like a wrecked submarine, but it can’t be. Is it made of concrete?

It is a model auf the Nautilus submarine (Jule Verne, 20000 leagues...)
It is meant to promote a nearby water park, but by now the ship is more of a wreck. The concrete look comes from the post processing (I wanted to increase the sinister feeling, the original shot looks rather bland). Here's an official shot from better times ...

Late winter snow storm this weekend. We've got at least 15cm over the past two days.

I'm currently on vacation in Saxon Switzerland.
This morning, I woke up a 2:30 am, met a friend and went up on one of the "Stones" to take some photos of the sunrise in this beautiful an pittoresque area. (The Elbe Sandstone Mountains are basically Germany's versions of Monument Valley and Bryce Canyon . More pictures to come / will be uploaded to my flickr set.

Spring is showing it's beautiful face here on the west coast of Canada. Okay, it did a few weeks ago, before the rain started.

On the next morning, I met with another local guy for some sunrise photos. We originally planned to go to another place, but as the fog was to high, we chose "Plan B" and went to the Lilienstein Rock, the highest table mountain in that area. As we had planned for a longer hike, we were there rather early and had to wait in the cold for some time.

Of course we also visited the Bastei. Probably one of Germany's most photographed spots...

Nobody else with pictures?

This is a new museum for the "Schöningen Spears", the worlds oldest preserved hunting weapons (about 270,000 years old):
