Maybe no one cares about the Rose Parade, but anyways, this is my shameless plug to watch it this year as I'll be marching in it. My school band has been invited again(we went in 2001) to march. Most bands only get considered every decade, so this is an incredible achievement. There are only about 12 bands in the entire parade, from all over the country.

Watch for the Benicia High School Panther Marching Band. We're very last in the lineup, so watch on HGTV, because ABC, NBC, and CBS tend to go to other programming at that point. Only HGTV and KTLA always stay untill the very end.

Oh, and its pronounced Ben-ee-sha, not Ben-i-kia or Ben-ee-shia, like the talking heads always say.

That's cool. My high school's band goes across the border to the Victoria Day Parade every year, and it's pretty fun. At least, it's fun until you go far enough that your arms and legs start to fall off.
