According to this article at the Register, they've got RFID tags down to about the size of a grain of sand now. You could have a couple hundred of them on you and never know it. I'm already a bit antsy about everything being tracked, and I'll bet this'll take it to a whole new level.

My brother is writing his diploma about RFID applications. Makes you feel warm and tingly inside.

It's stuff like this that makes the argument for full government and military transparency critical. The longer we go with the "wow that's cool" attitude without demanding very stringent regulations about how governments can acquire such things, the more likely someone is going to abuse it in the near future. Governments frankly, shouldn't even be allowed to own such technologies. Because once they have them you have no control over how they're used.

Not quote a grain of sand! I had one the size of a grain of rice in my hand the other day. (I work for a telematics company)
