Apple.com
I'm building a charger to satisfy the geek electronics guy in me since I'm now a photography student who rarely gets to play with my soldering iron anymore. The spec sheet on Apple's site doesn't go into detail a developer would want to build add-ons. This is for a solar-battery for the iPod that'll actually charge it, not just power it. Apple was nice enough to say the input range was rated from 5-30VDC and 1A Max. Sure this can be enough to go on, but I want to make the most efficient one I can. My plan is to make the connector a female USB so it'll be more universal and not just locked into a dock connector. Though, where can I get a male dock connector, other than buying a changing cable and cutting it? I put this in Apple Products because it's information based and not so much GB material.
