I am just playing with an rsync script to automatically keep my home folder synchronised with my iPod.
If I have never (and never plan to) used classic applications, will I still have resource forks that need copying? (ie. with the ditto command) OK, I have given up keeping this sig up to date. Lets just say I'm the guy that installs every latest version as soon as its available! |

Yes. Sync resources as well with the --eafhfs flag. However, you first need to get the HFS+ aware rsync at http://www.macosxlabs.org/rsyncx/rsyncx.html . Works like a charm.
