Hit the Reply button instead fo Edit?
There are apps to remove the background. ClearDock is one. Go to VersionTracker.com, they have lots of software for you to look through. Search for Dock stuff. |

The perfect thread to plug my recent appearance on MacDesktops.com! :smokey:
Posted here: http://macdesktops.com/?keyword=&aut...&search=Search But, usually, I have stuff related to the anime Initial D in my desktop rotation. Here's one of the better ones -- |

Hey Guys,
I've got some great desktop shots that I think you'd like and I'd like to share them. I'm having trouble adding them to a post, so if anyone is interested, contact me at: hookalakupua15@aol.com and I'll send them to you and maybe someone smarter than me can post them!! Pictures include: hot lava flowing down Mauna Kea and into the ocean, a GREAT shot of "Bruce" from Finding Nemo, a picturesque view of Hawaii and the Ocean, a great shot of one of our dolphins and her newborn, and a few more of my favorites. Aloha - |

Anyone happen to have a larger version of this image?
I'm looking for one as a background, but this one isn't a high enough res. for my powerbook. Google is your frenemy. Caveat Emptor - Latin for tough titty I tend to interpret things in the way that's most hilarious to me |

MacHead05, how did you put a theme on Tiger? Did you just replace the actual files, or are you using a theme changing application of some sort? I don't think ShapeShifter is Tiger compatible, at least not yet.

The iTunes thing is a Konfab widget. The Automator icon is just plastered over the Finder icon. |

Is there something in Tiger that will be able to do this? |

Widgets in Tiger will be able to do the same thing, but they won't be the same.
For instance, Konfabulator Widgets can go on the desktop as well as float and even show up only in Expose. Whereas Dashboard Widgets can only show up in the Dashboard environment. Not on the desktop. If someone were to hack Dashboard to allow widgets to have the same window leveling options as Konfab, I'd dump Konfab in a second. (Less resources taken up, the better.) |
