Why not get a USB hub?
It should work fine though, the Apple website says:

"PCI-X Expansion Slots

PCI and PCI-X cards enable the Power Mac G5 to perform specialized tasks, such as video capture and playback and audio digital signal processing (DSP). PCI-X supports 3.3V signaling and Universal 33MHz and 66MHz PCI cards. Choose a PCI or PCI-X Power Mac G5 system: Three 64-bit PCI-X slots let you add one card running at 133MHz and two cards running at 100MHz, and three 64-bit PCI slots allow you to add three 33MHz cards."

You might want to ask the seller if the card is a 3.3v or a 5v card. There are some 5v cards around, and those won't work in a PowerMac G5. But since this one is USB 2.0 and therefore fairly new, it'll probably be fine.

The comment from Apple doesn't make it clear if PCI and PCI-X are compatible.

PCI-X is backwards compatible. From what I've heard, even the standard PCI in the lower end PowerMacs is not compatible with 5v cards. But I don't think there are many 5v cards around today.
