When you get new RAM and it has like identifying stickers on it, should that be removed? Or can you put it into the computer with the stickers on?

Hum.
I have never removed the stickers and they have not caught fire so far. Also, all of our servers have stickered RAM in them so I'm guessing that it is OK to keep the stickers on. |

On many RAM modules it specifically says that the warranty is void if they are removed. Leave them in place. They don't do any harm and they're useful for determining just what kind of RAM you have.

I've never removed the stickers from any of the countless RAM modules I've installed over the years.
Yeah, I guess there's the warranty thing too. |
