Any one else have an ibook track pad that moves on it's own or jerks about 1/4-1/2 inch randomly after you take your finger off the pad?

will zaping p-ram effect the track pad even if this prob started upon 1st boot of a new laptop?

Are you sure you don't have another finger near the trackpad? They can jump around like that if you have another finger by the edge.

Nope just one finger on it. Apple has a blurb on their web site about the glitch but it didn't help much. They said to put your palm on the pad for 5 sec then take it off. They're other suggestion was to use track pad film.
So no one else w/ibooks or PBs have this going on? |
