Hi there,
I've got a Mac Mini (1.66GHz, 100GB, 1GB) and basically, CoverFlow is being extremely slow whenever I use it. I recently transfered my iTunes library onto an external USB 1TB HDD, and i'm thinking this might be why, but i'm also thinking it could also be because I don't have a good enough GFX card or enough RAM installed. Oh, its probably worth mentioning it only happens with my music (16.07GB), 'flowing' through my short collection of movies is fine So, i'm just wondering what people think is causing it to act slow? I'm hoping its the RAM, but if its because its all on an external hard drive then that'll be kind of annoying as I only have a 100GB hard drive on the Mini. Did you just add a bunch of new albums or cover art? It can take a bit on my system too (MB 2GHz w/ 2GB RAM) when it is loading up all those images. Maybe this is where a GPU would make a difference.

Nope ... it happens all the time, over long periods when I don't add any new albums.
