On May 16th MacAddict posted a link to the Sun website where there was a VERY vague and ambiguous teaser saying that something revolutionary would transpire on June 1st...if you went to their website all you would get was the teaser, today is June 1st and their site is back up...I have heard rumors and speculation Apple has something to do with this and is planning to jump on board and make their announcement (whatever it may be) on the 6th...
none of this is "insider" info, I am not claiming it to be, but I do recall reading about it a few weeks ago, can anyone shed some light maybe? What is this giant announcement from Sun, and potentially from Apple? |

They announced a new branding campaign today... flushing money down the toilet to do ads about companies that use Sun products/technologies.

Good grief. That MacsimumNews page is basing that theory on a quote taken wholly out of context from over four years ago. I wouldn't put a lot of credence in that.
