If you liked Parallels before it's just got a lot better.. and if you've never tried it then do so today..
Seriously Guys 'n' Gals it's just got very awesome! Expose is now fully integrated. It's so integrated that you actually feel like your PeeCee and your Mac are one. Windows have drop shadows.. Infact it seems like they've even leaked over into XP to XP windows, which looks awesome. That annoying flickering desktop from the PeeCee world, leaking through onto your Mac desktop as you move windows around - GONE! I am having too much fun with this update! http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id...allels-desktop 'Remember, measure life by the moments that take your breath away, not by how many breaths you take' Extreme Sports Cafe | ESC's blog | scratt's blog | @thescratt |

I must admit I had a little bit of sick come up into my mouth when I typed that line..
EDIT - If you think that is bad you should see me talking about taking me Windoze PeeCee to bed with my wife in the thread just below this one.. I agree. its very good. VMware has had this since the latest version too.
One thing that VMware does that Parallels doesnt yet do is minimise windows apps to the dock (including the Genie effect!). Im sure the clever beggers at Parallels are alread working on this. |

5120 is out now (direct download). They have some of the worst version number designations ever over at Parallels: "3.0 for Mac Feature Update – Beta2" – wtf? Why not just 3.1b2?
Anyway, the blog shows the two major changes. They now let you minimize Coherence windows to the Dock, and Documents and My Documents are synced to have the same contents. |

The latest update crashes my new iMac when I try and boot Vista with Direct X support enabled. Doh!

Hey Chucker, that handling of documents sounds really neat. Does VMWare do the same thing, or is parallels superior in this regard?

I don't believe VMware Fusion currently supports this.
