"Sometimes" by My Bloody Valentine

Not from that album though, its on the Lost In Translation soundtrack (put together by Kevin Shields of MBV) which I'm liking a lot. Bill Murray singing Roxy Music's "More Than This" karaoke as a hidden track is a classic.

Shhhh, I can't see!

LOL... makes me have flashbacks of the early MTV days. Back when they used to play videos. Wasn't this the big song? I think I have an itch to hear some Night Ranger now. :smokey:

Hasselhoff by Johnny Socko off the wonderful Just Not Punk Enuff.

Great cover of the Laverne and Shirley theme song by Less Than Jake on the same album.

More Emo Than Thou by The Superspecs.

Fucking awesome band I saw last week.

And yes, they told me I could share their songs with anyone I wanted. They don't have a full album yet, so they want their promo out to as many people as will listen.

If you want the full three song promo EP let me know.

Sucker Train Blues - Velvet Revolver

(I wish this wasn't copy protected so I didn't have to walk to my car every fucking time I wanted to listen to it, but my car CD player doesn't play some burnt CDs anymore for some random reason and that's where I listen to music the most so I didn't want to get it off the iTMS, plus I have no credit card, but I really wish I could just import this into my iTunes library. Before too long I'll just have to fire up good ol' Audio Hijack. Yes, I am aware that the first sentence was the king of run on sentences.)

i thought i used to have a signature

I just put the CD in my computer and imported it with iTunes anyways, and it imported the whole thing just fine. Amazing.

The Outer Perimeter by Presage. Any HIP-HOP fan who's also into the X-Files will really dig this. Several DJs on a Masonic/Illuminatti tangent.NWOMF.

I'm listening to (and watching on DVD ) my favorite rock and roll band on the planet, the Radiators from New Orleans.

Right now they're doing a cover of an obscure Bob Dylan song called Little Sadie with several special guests sitting in, including the best trombone player I've ever seen, Mark Mullins from New Orleans, who plays with the Harry Connick Jr. Big Band when he's not doing his own thing or playing with the RADS. They've also got a new orleans bass player from The Funky Meters sitting in, that Paul McCartney called the best bass player on the planet by the name of George Porter Jr.

Anyway, since I've been typing this rant, the DVD moved on to a song called Confidential, which was recorded on Epic Records in the late 1980's and is of course available on the iTMS

It was actually a pretty big college radio hit in its day. Also, there is only one American band that has recorded on a major label and had kept all of its founding members longer than the Rads (26.5 years so far) and that is Los Lobos.

In short, if you like Little Feat, The Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers, Government Mule (the Rads were the band that played Warren Haynes' Wedding) Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Rolling Stones, Van Morrison, Widespread Panic, Phish, or anything resembling "jamband roots blues rock", you will love this band, and if you ever have the chance to see them LIVE, I promise that you will want to thank me.

Ok, I'm now officially obsessed with this song. Just had to listen to it three times in a row. Gonna try to listen to something else.
