I live in Kansas City, I go to the University of Kansas. I have been trying to get ahold of a Shuffle since they have been released. The student union said they would be getting them this week, and now today has moved that back to the middle of March. The apple store in KC says this week, but im not sure since everyone isnt quite sure about when they are going to be recieving them. is there anywhere else i could look to buy one?

sorry, im new and didnt even see the general forum. online is way too long to wait. as i said the apple store was supposed to get them this week, but so did my student union and they have pushed it back till march. i have done some searching around and have found microcenter to possibly have them.

how does the waitlist work for the apple store? if i ask to be on it will they most likely know what im talking about?

If Apple can get full price at the Apple store, they will prefer to sell their units at the Apple Store (online and retail). The next group that is likely to get product are the national resellers, followed by mail order firms, and the educational discount divisions will get them last.
