Yes, this thread's time as come (is probably long-past due actually)... and the proof is right here:

Usually when you see a world record set it's kind of, like, cool or something. That was just really, really gay lame.

But I bet some douche is carving up a killer 32' board right now.

The Internet is a black hole for time.

Reasonable historical question degenerates...

I've got two:

The (other) Boss -- Lance Armstrong has announced his return to cycling. While this is quite entertaining from my perspective, training and participating in 5 major cycling races in your late thirties is evidence of having too much time on your hands.

Some good shots and a short summary of Lance evolution here http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/gall...ture=339793925

Bad sex [writing alas] award exposes this year's nominees -- These writers may also have too much time on their hands. Excerpt from article

Quote:
If an extract from Allestree's novel – here depicting sex between humans, rather than canines - is anything to go by, she should be in with a good chance: few novelists successfully manage to combine soup and sex. "He raised himself to his knees and bent to roll his tongue around her weeping orifice. He was bringing her to a pitch of ecstasy when she heard Madame Veuve, on the landing, put down the supper tray. Whiffs of onion soup strayed over them as he engulfed her. 'Don't stop,' she clamoured; she was nearly there, it was in the bag."

Worst sex scene EVER. I don't think that would have turned me on when I was a 14 year old horn-bot, let alone now... Seriously... onion soup? Nasty...

George Constanza would approve, though

Do not be oppressed by the forces of ignorance and delusion! But rise up now with resolve and courage! Entranced by ignorance, from beginningless time until now, You have had more than enough time to sleep. So do not slumber any longer, but strive after virtue with body, speech, and mind!

Pimp my Yugo <-- BBC story with embedded flash video (non-uk folk may not get the video)

There are stretch Yugo limos on the web, and this wood-powered one.

Seriously.

What's next... Pimp my Lada? Oh wait...?

All those who believe in telekinesis, raise my hand.

C'mon. Onion soup is sexy. Just imagine the smell of caramelized onions and beef broth, with a hint of burnt Gruyere. Holy yum. I might have to make some this weekend.

What's more off-putting to me is the term "weeping orifice." Erm. Yeah. I'll get right in there.

So it goes.

Yeah, wheeping orifice reminds me of something like this:

Maybe depends on what you're doing, but he was camping out down south when that onion soup stench wafted over his back and through her pubes. Not yummy.
