Is this normal?

Whenever I recieve a call on my phone using my headset, right after pressing the inline remote to "accept" the call, I hear a little "pee-PEEP!!" noise. WHAT is this???

I clicked this thread thinking you meant tweets as in, it sends a tweet. That would be the awesomest bug ever.

That would be amazing if I was being bugged!! It's just a little two-beat sound that goes a bit higher on the second beat.... chirr-CHIRRP. It's almost like it's saying "you can talk now".

Interestingly I see nothing about this when I search for it.

Now I'm feeling paranoid O.o

Generally it's feedback sounds. If you mute your headset maybe you'll hear 1 beep. If you close it... maybe something like one long beep then a short. Depends on the headset...

I've got the bluetooth module in my car synced with my iPhone, I'll try to remember to listen for this sound next time I get an incoming call.

Also try it with your earbuds, if you have them. I'm on a 3Gs.
