It's disappointing if even the spam isn't up to scratch these days

Opps...sorry.

This isn't spam. Just found this cool program and wanted to see if anyone else had heard about it.

I use it to because i have my desktop and laptop running at the same time. Cool to just move the mouse from one screen to the other w/out have to change positions.

Seems to me that there's better options out there for something like this.

I use VNC and it works just fine for me. Just go to system preferences -> sharing -> Apple remote desktop -> Access Privileges and check VNC viewers may control this screen with password:

Thats all the setup there is to it, and it wont set you back 15 bucks.

Bingo. There's also a few shareware programs out there, none of them really worth mentioning, but they're cheaper and more effective.

I've used VLC before and didn't really like it. But I did use transport and found it very helpful. (Until I ran out of magic screen corners.) When my laptop is open next to my G5, they automatically see each other and I can use the G5 keyboard and USB mouse to control both computers. It beats using the laptop keyboard and trackpad and I don't have to move at all.

^^ One more quality post from the desk of Ebby. ^^

Hmm, that sounds pretty cool actually, and a lot better than trying to run VNC. Way to bandwidth intensive. I'll have to check it out.
