i love it!

i could watch misty may and kerri walsh smack each other on the ass all day and night. they even do it it when they lose a point.
it's so sweet.

they got their gold, the softball babes got theirs, now it's time for goal girl, loudy foudy, and the rest to win the women's soccer gold.

I usually have to subscribe to Cinemax for that.

Go USA!

Foudy? The soccer woman? Mmm...she's so pretty!

I forgot all about her. She played in San Diego when I lived there. Saw her once, in jeans and sandals, and she was SO sexy-without-trying (which makes someone 50x more sexy).

you know the sexual aspect aside, i just love watching women play sport. (except basketball) it seems to be more pure and played with more emotion.
another great moment was when deena kastor came into the stadium running the marathon crying tears of absolute joy for winning the bronze. i mean i was liquid.

plus a fit woman is such a turn-on for me, so i guess you can't put the sexual aspect aside.

my favorite foudy moment was when the world cuppers went to the white house, and you could tell big bill wanted the loudy foudy bad! it was electric.

she kind of reminds me of sheryl crow in the face.

Yeah, totally. Kinda put Sheryl Crow and Courtney Cox together, and you get Julie Foudy. And that ain't a bad way to go.

Now NBC wants to be just like FOX.
J/K

I wonder what else I am missing since the olympics are broadcast at my house. Maybe another station will replay it.

^^ One more quality post from the desk of Ebby. ^^

Yeah, when Kerri Walsh slapped Misty May that last time on the ass and then knelt down and put her hands together...that was classic. She had to reach to get her hand on it.

She's a bit too Heidi Fleiss in that photo...but still a "girl next door" cutie!

And WTF is THIS?!? Surely that jersey number is a retouch job, right?

The bad news is we have to wait another four years for more Beach Volleyball love... the good news is, there is a big women's tournament here in Chicago next week I think.

I prefer the natural environs of the volleyball to the "trojan games" but it was worth a laugh. I especially like the "no hands" ballet...very classly.

Every other photo in a women's water-polo match has exposed titties. Heck, most of the time they break the straps on their suits too.

As for my favorite Olympic lady? I'd have to say Natalie Coughlin.

Y'all obviously don't watch enough water polo. This is a really regular occurrence. Even in high school, and especially in college competitions. One of the best reasons to be a polo player

Damn! Now you tell me!

Actually, I have seen a few water polo games because I have family members who play. Entirely different expectations.

IIRC, water polo has always been considered one of the dirtiest sports for blatant fouls below the water line. Few other modern Olympic sports have a history of eye gouges and intent to injure that water polo has had... but maybe I'm missing something. Soccer has plenty of 'theatrical diving' to feign injury, but water polo is the only one where an unsocketed eyeball was actually floating in the pool afterwards.

The ancient Olympics had some pretty brutal 'winner takes all so maim your competitor' attitudes that have been documented, but sportsmanship seems to get a strange interpretation in the water polo world.

YMMV.

I've seen this year's Euro Cup described as the "European Grass-Diving Championships"

My cousin was on a co-ed intramural water polo team in college. He loved it. Damn, I was jealous.

Never did understand water polo much as a sport. The boobs are a nice perk but otherwise seems a miserable game to play. Like swimming laps with a sandbag on your head.

Because they're basically swimming the entire time. Heh. Just thinking of the men's 1500M Free makes the lactaid acid in my body build up. 30 laps...Jay-zus.
