Hey guys, I'm trying to find a clip of that Landshark episode from Saturday Night Live (I'm guessing it was the 70's or early 80's).

The one where the landshark rings the doorbell and says "candygram" or "flowers, ma'am" and then eats the person when they open the door.

My 5-year old has been telling me about sharks, and all these things she's learned from National Geographic. She thinks that alligators are more dangerous than sharks because they can go on land, so I told her that there are these landsharks that walk right up to your door and eat you. The little brat doesn't believe me, so I need some video proof.

My google skills are lacking this morning. Help a brother out?

I thought about asking the same thing for the Frankenstein, Tarzan & Tonto videos but decided that nobody would find it for me anyhow. That's when I get a twinge of wishing that I wasn't afraid of those peer-to-peer file sharing network thingies.... Anyway, if I find Land Shark on a website I'll post the link hereabouts~

OOH. How about the "bag of glass" skit? I tried finding a video of that a few months ago with no luck. This one has Candice Bergen in a Consumer Reports-type show interviewing Mr Mainway (Dan Akroyd), creator of fine toys like "Bag O Glass", "Johnny Switchblade", and "Doggie Dentist".

Murbot, you and your daughter need to tune into the Discovery Channel this week: it's annual Shark Week, starting tonight! That'll give her all the shark info she can handle!

Remember it well. My favorite is when he tries to prove his product isn't anymore dangerous than everyday objects, then "accidentally" hangs himself with the phone cord (I think).

I like the "Johnny Switchblade" toy the best.
