OK, my Seagate 250GB HD and Macally enclosure got here today, and I've just now hooked it up. It opened Disk Utility, and I selected Erase, named the drive, and hit Go, and it's running now. Is this correct?

Noooooooooooooooooooo!
You've pooched it all. Seriously, as long as you identified the external HD in DU before erasing, it should be fine. If however, you highlighted your Mac drive instead of your new external, you'll be pissed. All those who believe in telekinesis, raise my hand. |
