Well, my trusty old G4 Cube has just become my dad's work computer. It's no longer mine.

Now my username CubeDude doesn't really fit anymore. All I use now is my Powerbook. So, I'd like to change it. Neither PowerDude and BookDude sound too good, so I'd like my new name to be Ryan.

So, can it be done?

The Big Lebowski was a great flick, but there was also, "Dude, where's my car?" ... but whatever floats his boat.

[EDIT] Wasn't he (Lebowski) "The Dude" as well? (maybe he went by both)

No worries dude ... which reminds me many years ago I heard some stand-up do a routine of the many uses and pronunciations for the word dude, which was great. I have no idea who it was though.

You were always Ryan (presuming this is your real name). You've had that since the birth.

You just changed your username from CubeDude to your real name.

In other words, Billybobsky has been watching too much Star Trek starring Spock. Perhaps Evil Spock as well.

This thread reminds me of how awesome it is to be a part of a smaller online community: the short, common user names aren't taken.

Good thing I chose a long, uncommon name... although it would be neat to change it to "Chris" or "Hackintosh" someday... but not while they're still making new Simpsons episodes.
