I'm new to the Mac community. Who is Bill Palmer and why should I care?

If he is wrong about the headless iMac I hope no one will ever listen to him again. The very idea that this is some sort of geek 'toy' really pisses me off. Trust, if it was a geek toy it would be a G5 w/512 MB, a Radeon 9800, and Pre-N wireless, damnit! But it's not, and that's why the headless iMac seems to me to be a real product. The stated specs seem like something Apple would do for the market it's intended for.

One way or the other, we'll have an answer in a few hours time...
