I like how he just gave up at the end, because his PC couldn't install iTunes.
Maddox is always hilarious. But I never take him seriously. |

That was awesome. I can't wait for his replies to the emails he will get from that one.

Wait... *MADDOX* is bitching about people who can't shut the fuck up? The guy whose entire ParisHilton-esque fame run is built on him having an uncontrollable need to spew verbal poop?
**MADDOX**?? Why hello Mr. Pot, I'd like you to meet MR FUCKING ANNOYING KETTLE... Man, that's the funniest bit about that piece. |

It's true about Mac users... we like to talk shit.
BECAUSE WE CAN, bitch! As if the people at MacFixit prove there's something wrong with Macs. All machines have flaws and there will always be idiots who can't operate the simplest and most reliable of machines... but if I have to choose between the one the fucks up the most and the one that fucks up the least... ...HMMMM. M is for MAC. Stick that in your Manly Alphabits, you crusty pile of pubic hair. ...into the light of a dark black night. |

Shhh. Don't let Homeland Security know.
I think the inference is you can't use podcasts and such to spread information about how to design a bomb, etc. |

Actually I think that's a requirement to ship software to specific countries.

I hate Maddox. I don't think he's funny and I get annoyed at his delusions of grandeur. He's not even that clever.

Maddox was funny when he still updated his site. Then he wrote a book (which has been FINISHED and in print for over a year now, I might add) and never updated his site more than a few times a year. Does he not need the traffic because of his book sales? I don't know. The whole "I'm going to make fun of people for asking me to update my site" thing is pretty stupid, but before all that I thought he was funny.

Like most internet celebrities he became pretty annoying when he started to think he was somewhat important. Given that it's pretty easy to make fun of Mac users he didn't do a very good job a tearing us a new one.
He used to rule. |

You have to learn the hard way that the day is coming when you won't sell out stadiums, people won't ask for your autograph and hot girls will find you a boor. I have of course achieved one of these qualities far earlier than anticipated.

Doesn't look so hardball now does he? Cowering away, nervous, geeky voice - should have stuck to the Internet me thinks. |

Maddox: used to be funny.
Sad really. I love the book, and his older rants are good, but they've been dropping in quality for some time. And this one, regardless of subject matter, is weak. (except for the bit about making nukes...) |

I've read some of his stuff over the years. I can take or leave him. Never too impressed (it's easy to do, cobbling together a couple of rambling, semi-clever, profanity-laced paragraphs about stuff that irks you...trust me ).
This latest one was pretty weak and heavy-handed (and about 2-3 years too late to really mean anything). I can certainly laugh at "the Mac lifestyle" and some of the more nutty Apple fanatics out there (and I can be one myself, from time to time), but this didn't do it. |

Maddox is a fucktard. I know somebody that rants about everything off the internet like he does on it. I wouldn't mind ripping his tongue out, or in the case of Maddox, cutting his fingers off.

I was a big fan of the Idaho article. Mostly because it's so true.

Just kidding. This particular Maddox rant was kinda ironic, but I still laughed a lot. |

Sorry, I just have a problem with people who don't recognize the fact that they are truly useless human beings. When they think they have a voice worth listening to, they only get worse. There are much better uses for the space and resources he wastes.
