As someone who does not send or receive PM's that often (probably 2 or 3 a month), I would like to suggest for the benefit of AN hosting health that everyone go into their PM boxes and delete a bunch of PMs from their Inbox and Sent box. If you're like me you've got maybe 10 or 15 a year you like to keep because they're funny or whatever, but most of them are just intermittent communications with random people about random subjects, that have no "thread life". Delete those suckers so Brad & Co don't have to upgrade our server account as often (assuming he's going through some ISP and not a locally hosted machine).
That is all. Carry on. ...into the light of a dark black night. |

I should mention it's critical to start filling up your newly cleaned out PM box with new useless PMs as soon as possible. |

I think i received a PM once, but since i never check them, it was horrendously out of date by the time i read it.
I find it hard enough just writing sensible things down in a thread, let alone writing PMs! |

Yeah, it must be a small group of individuals who are hoarding all the PMs to themselves. Cause I hardly ever get PMs either.

I've got like 600 PMs. I really should delete them. Or I can spread some out to those of you who don't get any PM love.

In my 4.5 years here (wow!), I've received about 10-12 PMs (mostly good).
I've sent about the same amount, I think. |

I have no idea how, but I ended up with just over 100 (though they were spread over almost 4 years). Cleared the lot of 'em out. Now if only I could do the same for my e-mail inbox...

Looks at top right corner: 192 PMs.
Are you looking at me, Moogs? Gmail teaches me bad habits.... Oh, and before it's deleted, here's my best ever PM: Quote:

So suddenly I'm the only guy that doesn't get PMs. Or get PMs regularly.

FWIW- For those who like to reminiscence over the "Best of..." PMs, you can download everything into XML, CSV or plain text, so you can be a good citizen and empty your PM and with that funky music in background reminding you of good times long ago.

Done, though I am not sure my 53 messages constituted much of a burden...
