@ Schvoo & Windows Breaker G4.

Here is my old desktop. This picture would be a lot more humorous if you knew me.. click for larger version

and here is my current desktop. It was taken a little bit ago, but it is still in use so no need to update the pic....again, click for larger version.

edit for Ebby:
Wikipedia defines it like so....

Aha! that answers that.

Now for my latest screenshot.

I didn't make the images. I just found them on the net and touched them up a bit.

I was actually going to comment on that.

It's an old Audion skin. I remember using it back in 2001.

Unfortunately, despite being free, Audion isn't good for much these days since it won't play AAC/MP4 files.

Yea, It's Audion. I never heard of it before they released it for free. I tend to like it because its small and looks nice. It also uses less processor power than iTunes, but I don't care much on my G5. I don't have much music in AAC/MP4 so it still works and it can use playlists from an iPod. It also works great with net radio. I have nothing against iTunes, but having this as a startup item is better than opening a full window in iTunes.

My cramped, but cozy iBook setup:

I'd have something more lewd if it wasn't a computer I take to meetings. :P

Too crowded for me. Way too crowded.

Just wondering...where can I get good desktops that are wide. I'm spanning a 12" iBook and I'd like to have a desktop that goes across the whole two displays. Thanks

Come waste your time with me

I have three displays now!

My main display, hooked up to my Powerbook:

My Powerbook's built-in display. Sometimes I run NetNewsWire on it, but I gave up on that. Maybe once Tiger comes in I can put it to use with Dashboard.

My Cube's display. I don't use it for much, but it houses my photo and music libraries, and most of my files, as it has a large hard drive, and my Powerbook only has 40 gigs. Its black simply because I was getting tired of a bunch of colors popping into the corner of my eye every time I went to a new song running off my Powerbook.

Probably the last one I take of the iBook for a while. What with the Mac mini and everything. If all goes well (Read if the Computer Forum receives them in time.) I should hopefully have a Mini and 20" display on my desk by Saturday.

What is that you have bottom right, to control iTunes?

A set of custom scripts written in AppleScript in a DragThing Dock with a set of Hot Keys to control iTunes as well. It's like a Konfabulator Widget, but without Konfabulator and all that memory overhead. (This is a 600MHz G3 iBook. I need as much free memory as possible. And since DT is running anyway, why not utilize it?) The iTunes icon actually hides or shows iTunes depending on if it's shown or not.

Meet Natalie.
The Mac mini, not just the dock picture. Successor to Jessica (iBook), Stephanie (iMac G4) and Melissa (iMac G3) before her.

It's a start. Haven't actually gotten all settled in yet. This is basically what my DT looked like before with settings imported and all customized versions of my favorite Desktop Pictures.

My first Mac mini fully custom shot.

The HD icons are from the Matrix Rebooted icon set. The chair is the main HD, the MiniDiscs are my Backup and the two Jujitsu cards are my "Filing Cabinet". The bottom one is made by me. That's the iBook's HD. The iBook has been demoted to "Lounge Browser".

The Trash icon is also from Matrix Rebooted. I just liked how much more like a trash can it actually looks.

The Dock on the left as usual is hidden by click of mouse button 5. I'm going for colorful this time. I'll have to figure out some other place to put Natalie. http://www.dragthing.com

I forget where the desktop is from. It's customized as are all my currently rotating images to fit my screen.

The Theme is SoftProPlasticWashed.

Photograph of my computer.
