Hi all,
I currently use a scanner, that seems to work o.k. (though not perfectly) with the hp software it came with... but I keep getting invitations to buy Readiris Pro for Mac OS. Can someone who knows more about this than I do (probably anyone who's reading this) advise me as to whether this might be useful software. eg. would it make my current scanning situation more efficient (things sometimes crash on me) eg. would it allow me to make better use of whatever scanner I get next - - which will probably be an Epson or Canon... which will probably come with Mac-friendly software... Do I need this Readiris software? Is it somehow better than the software that comes with a scanner? (and if not, why do they make it?) Thanks, mhcbc |
