So just for fun I thought I'd try out an easy iBook mod where you change the colour of the apple logo on the back of the display. Only trouble is, 2 of the 4 small hex screws on the side of the LCD seem to be stripped (from an earlier repair job?) and I can't seem to get them out. I've tried both normal, and ball-end hex wrenches...nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any (preferably non-destructive!) suggestions on how I can remove them?

If you can source more screws and get some cheep hex keys you could epoxy the hex ket to the screw. A bit OTT but it works for normal screws with a knackered slot.

Holy crap that's a brilliant solution. I need to keep that in mind.

Yep - I've used that same solution for the exact same hex screws on an iBook screen bezel.

Except that I used SuperGlue, not epoxy.
