does anyone know the name of that game, I think it's windows only, where you start out as a little cell, and can go anywhere from there? I don't think it's out yet.

Its supposed to be amazing. There is also a demo video here

I expect it to out-do sims in terms of sales.

Spore does look amazing. It's also alleged to be quasi-multiplayer...you don't play against other people, but the universe will apparently populate using other people's creations in the game.
