i made a movie on imovie hd and then exported it to idvd to do the menu and burn it. now, ive been using toast 7 a lot lately to burn dvds and they play on my xbox so i figured idvd would do the same but when i burned it and tried to play it on my xbox, i got an error message. i put the dvd back into my computer and saw it was video_ts files so i figured id just copy the files to my desktop, reburn it in toast and be good to go but i was wrong...anyone have any idea why idvd would burn differently then toast 7, id like to get this to burn on to dvd so i can watch it on my xbox, thanks

Check that your Xbox isn't playing up. iDVD burns as a normal movie which can be played on an Xbox or other DVD player. I must have burned about 20 in the last few weeks and all have played on my Xbox.

How are you burning it in toast? Make sure you are selecting DVD-ROM (UDF) from the list at the right. This has worked in every DVD player i have tried doing it this way.

well, i tried it again today and it worked. it definatly wasnt working yesterday, ohwell as long as its working now. i burned it from idvd first and then it didnt work so i put the burnt dvd back into the computer and copied the video_ts files onto my harddrive and then burnt those files in toast.
