Hi,
It's already second half of March.
Does anybody know on which date Apple will release the universal binary update 1.1 for Aperture?

Seriously though, its slated for a march release, meaning it has to be sometime in the next two weeks, and after just getting my macbook I can't wait... I hope for next tuesday!

Looks like the either the March release got pushed back or we can expect it any day now. The banner at apple.com/aperture now reads "Version 1.1 Shipping Soon". Well see soon enough I guess.

For that matter, the rest of the Pro Apps are supposed to be shipping in March too. I've yet to hear a peep from Apple about when they're being unleashed...

Subtle change to the v1.1 update page. Now apparently due in April. Hmmm. Thought March went quickly.

This isn't just a UB issue I don't think. There are other changes to the program's image manipulation algorithms, support for DNG and a couple other things.

Most people don't have any contacts to anybody with information at Apple.

Keep in mind that the overwhelming majority of "my friend" accounts are pure fiction.

Agreed. FWIW my information comes from an Aperture seminar where the speaker basically disclosed some fixes and improvements were forthcoming, as part of 1.1's release. Not sure who the seminar was sponsored by but the speaker was a reliable one.

Will we be getting Aperture today or maybe tomorrow? It appeared briefly in Apples HotNews RSS feed along with a $200 price drop.
