Apple is going to Photokina in Cologne, Germany and it is reported that they are supposed to give a special presentation the day before Photokina is supposed to start.

Hmmm. Demonstration of the next Aperture AND something else?......

YA THINK? An exposition named "photokina", where dozens of photography brands have made appearances for years, geared towards photography? Inconceivable

I'm not sure how this differs from last October, where they introduced Aperture 1.0, new PowerBooks and dual-core Power Mac G5s at a media event right before a New York photography expo.

I think it differs because this event seems to be held AT the event rather than Apple hosting their own event.

I'd be happy to be proven wrong though!

tomayto/toMAto

I don't think Apple needs to remove itself from the expo to make an announcement.

I would think it would be Aperture related only because they're reportedly going to announce hardware updates at AEP.

But of course with apple, all is subject to change.

Yup. For example, Apple isn't having a keynote at PAE.

But I do hope that the MBP gets a Core 2 Duo Inside™ before the end of September.
