My iPod photo doesn't display album artwork anymore. The album art is displayed in iPhoto. I have "display album artwork on my iPod" checked in the iPod preferences in iTunes.
I think when I tried to rebuild my iPhoto library (Option+Shift on iPhoto startup) it did something to my album art. The problem with iPhoto library it "unexpectedly quits" when its finishing up the rebuild process. Any ideas if the iPhoto rebuild is the problem? and what I should do to correct the rebuild problem? |

I thought that the album art was stored as an integral part of the audio file itself?

Found this on Apple's support section:
"If you manually add some songs to a iPod photo but then change iPod update preferences to automatic in iTunes, the artwork for the manually added songs will not show up on the iPod photo." I followed the instructions and everything is back to normal: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=300248 |
