Was Lt. Yar the blond girl I was talking about?
In any case I just thought the loss of her was quite pivotal in setting up some of the weaknesses / battle scars of the crew. She also came back later didn't she?

Personally anything with The Crushers in was totally irritating.

And yeah, Q was always awesome.

Yea, Yar was the blonde security girl. Her station was above and behind Picard's chair, IIRC.

Funny, I thought the old lady was only around for a short time. Crusher was on the show many more years doing that whole unrequited love thing with Picard.

But it was because of Yar that we got to hear Data say "I am fully functional".

And Dr. Crusher was H O T. She can scan me with her tricorder any day! (Whatever that means)

I always thought TNG had a wonderful babe trifecta working...one in each hair color!

There's a "unleash my photo torpedo" joke just dying to be made here. But I'm better than that.

Councilor Troy bugged the hell out of me. I wouldn't mind slapping her titties around but her character drove me nuts. She was the Urhua of TNG, she could never tell what the people were feeling, just like Urhua could never get through to anybody.

Screw Dax, it's all about T'Pol.

Troi may have been annoying but definitely a hottie.

What about 67 of 9, tertiary adjunct to unimatrix zero-one?

i argue that without jeri ryan, obama's rise to the white house would have been a lot harder. someone else will need to connect the not so difficult dots...

Jeri Ryan was married to Jack Ryan, a Republican who won the nomination for the 2004 Illinois US Senate race. Apparently, Jack was a sex-crazed lunatic who brought Jeri to swingers' clubs and also berated her for her appearance (how anyone could criticize Jeri Ryan's appearance, I don't know). So they got a divorce and she gave all the juicy details of Jack's sexual deviancy, leading him to withdraw from the race. As such, the Republicans really had no chance of winning that seat - which ended up going to Barack Obama.

I don't know which of the two candidates was the favorite before Jack withdrew, but whenever a candidate pulls out of a race without much notice, it basically guarantees that the other party's candidate will win. Although Illinois is generally a very Democratic-leaning state, the incumbent senator (who was retiring) was a Republican.

Hold on now, folks. Do you not remember this "guest star" (I envied Wesley Crusher so much):

What about this one?

And a very young star-to-be:

A little bit, maybe? But more importantly:

Spoiler (click to toggle):
That's Ashley Judd.

Bingo!

I still think Kirstie Alley was the hottest woman ever to grace a Star Trek movie or show:

Too bad she got so fat. She was a FOX in Wrath of Khan!

Thanks for creating this thread. One of my favorite subjects:

Diana Ewing as Droxine in TOS: The Cloud Minders

Mariette Hartley in TOS: All of our yesterdays

Mudd's women

The Green Orion Slave Girle

Janice Rand

The list goes on and on... My point is that TOS had the best babes. Oh TNG and after had some hotties too but by then the Women's movement had almost eradicated the Roddenberry-style portrayal of hot chicks that is so awesome. If a chick "was" hot she also had some kind of complicated character to go along with it...

Any one ever see Roddenberry's film -=> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pretty_Maids_All_in_a_Row?

God, I wish I could produce my own TV show...
