Not sure what happened, I think it was probably when I was messing with SoundFlower, but I have since uninstalled it using it's uninstall routine.
What happens is all my audio is redirected through my speakers plugged into the back audio output port, when I plug my headphones in the front audio input port, my preferences, including the MIDI settings changes the output device from "Line Out - Built-in Audio" to "Headphones - Build-in Audio". If I unplug the headphones, it goes back to "Line Out", however, no matter which scenario it lists, all my audio still goes out my speakers and not my headphones. The system used to redirect all audio to the headphones when plugged in. Any insigh would be beneficial. I'm on a PowerMac G5 2 x 2.0's. Thanks! |

I'm on my work computer (windoze) so I'm firing from memory here...
Launch system preferences and select sounds. Ensure your default output is not SoundFlower. You should see it in a drop-down box on the sounds screen. I had a similar problem on my iMac G5 and this is what I did to fix it. |
