It's a web-based application for reading your RSS feeds. I guess this just shows how committed Apple is to making this the way to put third-party applications on the iPhone.
The address is: reader.mac.com but if you go there, you get a page saying that the page is only viewable on an iPhone. I still hope that Apple lets real applications be put on the iPhone rather than just these web-based ones. It would make for some interesting things from third-parties. |

So for this page, you have to go through Safari? Presumably, one would bookmark it for future access on the iPhone, yes?
Hopefully, if anything, it will point out what a pain it can be to go through Safari for all this stuff in lieu of, say having a little RSS (which despite the iPhone having the "real" internet* is extremely useful on a small screen) icon at the home screen. |

I would imagine that bookmarking it will be the way it works. That would make the most sense.

The only REAL problem I have with the whole "web-based SDK" thing is that if you're offline, you're shit out of luck. JavaScript and CSS is actually a pretty decent way to make a small application; just look at widgets.
If there was a way to download and keep these web apps, I'd be all for it. It's not as good as a real SDK, but I'm pretty sure that's on the way anyway. Logic, logic, logic. Logic is the beginning of wisdom, Valeris, not the end. |

Go there on your iPhone. It's just a placeholder page now saying to view RSS feeds, to go to them in Safari.
