Okay, I think I have what may be the best college class schedule ever created by anyone (that is, anyone taking a full course load).
Mondays and Wednesdays I have three classes, starting at 1:55 and ending at 5:45. Tuesdays and Thursdays I have one class, which goes from 1:15 to 2:30. Friday I have two classes, starting at 1:55 and ending at 3:50. It's just a thing of beauty. I think I'm gonna cry... nothing before 1:15 PM, but no night classes either! It's just amazing. And this is 14 credits. Unfortunately, it'll probably be spoiled once I get my work schedule. But I can still revel in it while it lasts. Anyone else get a really great schedule for classes? They start a week from Tuesday for me! |

Personally I love night classes. Mostly an older crowd and/or people who work during the day. Those classes are usually smaller and more laid back and the students seem to take the course work more seriously. My day classes are filled with slackers and rich kids attending on the daddy's dime.
How can you claim to have a sweet schedule with friday classes? Three day weekends rule! |

i have a really great schedule this year (at least compared to last). I even have Fridays free.
But..... Apparently coach is planning on practicing wed afternoons and we were told we werent when we were scheduling, so I may have to mix things up. Hope not. Either way, even a nice schedule sucks when you have two practices a day everyday. |

I really really really wish I was going back to school. Working sucks. But hopefully in a year or two I'll go back to grad school. I can't wait!

Well, I did have the option to take no classes at all on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but it would have involved adding an 8:30 AM class to Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I figured it's better to have all late days rather than three early, long days per week. Besides, I'd probably end up being scheduled at work on Tuesdays and Thursdays if I had them free.

Man, I have nine hour school days in high school. I think that has to be the worst schedule ever. I can't wait four years to graduate.

God, I hated school/college.
So glad that's long over with. Makes me shudder thinking of some of the schedules I had. |

I am in my school's Honors Program, but I am only taking 16 credits, plus a seminar. My classes do not start before 10, on any day, and they are basically very well balance. Unfortunately I have night lab on fridays, but that should not be too bad. My fridays are slow, so I can participate on "Thirsty Thursdays" and not suffer too much. This weekend has been awesome so far! I started on Monday of this week. So I have just finished a week of classes, and I want to add that Theology is my favorite class right now. Second to biology which I already know, all of it. I got to Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, you guys might know us from out Final Four appearance two years ago.

1 unit General Studies (compulsory); 3 unit Maths; 3 unit Modern History; 3 unit Ancient History; 3 unit Latin; 2 unit English (Advanced); In the NSW HSC system, 3 unit courses used to mean that you did an extra two hours outside of normal class hours per week. Latin was the lunch-hour on Wednesday, and 8am Friday; Ancient was two hours after school on Wednesday, and Modern was two hours after school on Monday (3U Maths was integrated into the normal cycle). So I had the normal school day from 9–3:30, minus the frees from dropping Chem at the end of year 11 (7 50 minute frees per 8-day cycle), plus around 6 hours a week. We did get tea and biscuits for the 3U classes though, until the kitchen realised what we were doing and put a stop to it (bastards). I did get a double free in the afternoon on Day 5, which I generally spent playing pool with my mates in the Year 12 common room. Happy days. |

You're lucky.
When I was a kid... we had to work 27 hours a day. Then study for another 43. And walk to school fifty miles through the snow... uphill... both ways... </python> |

I got my work schedule yesterday. Well, it won't be quite as nice now. I work 7:45 to 12 on Tuesdays and Thursdays now, 4-6 on Thursdays, and 3-9 on Saturday. On the plus side, I only have two early days a week, and one full day off. That's with 14 credits plus 16 hours of work. Pretty good.

i went to setup my schedule last thursday. all after work. each varying in length from 1 to 3h starting 5ish. i decided i couldn't be happy with any schedule. having early classes (ie, noon-3ish) would mean basically no time for work. and having late classes means reduced social life. i decided i better keep cashing my checks all the way to the bank.

One quarter my sophomore year, I had class from 10:00 - 3:15 on Tuesdays and 10:00 - 6:20 on Thursdays (but we never went past 5:30). And that was a full 16 units.
Beat that. (and I think that was my first post in like 2 months. Huh) |

I am taking 15 hours this semester
MWF - Discrete Systems I - 10-11am M - Human Growth & Development - 5:30-8:00pm T - Intro. to Special Education - 5:30-8:00pm W - Intro. to Education - 5:30-8:00pm Online - History and Philosophy of Mathematics I like my schedule. I only have to get up early 3 times a week (if you count 10am early ). The only thing that I can see becoming a problem is that in my three night classes I also have to put in 90 total hours working and observing in a middle school. It may get hectic, but I am not a procrastinator so I hardly ever fall behind. What Adobe Updater‽ What‽ What‽ WHAT‽ |

Bah. Wimps! My best semesters at college were the ones where I took 21 and 22 credits respectively. Never did less than 18! (Oddly, enough, the fewer the credits, the worse the semester.)

I'm done by 2:30 every day...
Sadly, on Friday I have 8:30-2:30 without a second of break. *shrug* |
