I have an annoying problem with Calculator. When I start it, the window doesn't appear - the menu bar is there, but no actual calculator. I can get round it by going to "View - Paper Tape" which causes the calculator and the paper tape to appear. I just wondered if there was anything I could do to try and fix it.
I'm running 10.3.8, but it's not a .8 problem - its been like this since .3 System Spec: 17" G4 Powerbook 1.33ghz, 1Gb Ram, OS 10.3.8 |

Hmm. Try quitting, removing the preferences file, and opening it again. The preferences file is located at:
~/Library/Prefrences/com.apple.calculator.plist Also, did you ever try the modification that would enable graphing features in Calculator? That feature has been broken for a few versions and might be the cause of these troubles if you enabled it. The quality of this board depends on the quality of the posts.
