The best PPC distribution of Linux, YellowDog Linux, or as it's commonly known YDL, is releasing version 4 soon. It's out for the premium members now but soon it'll be available to purchase and download for non-members. Check it out here. When I get my new Powerbook G4/5 12"/1.33 GHz (or whatever is the fastest 12" when I get it) I 'd like to try a dual boot environment. I can't really do it with my current setup because I have an extremely small hard disk clocking in at 14 GB. Hardly enough for multiple OSes to reside even with partioning done... The new PB I want is going to have an 80 GB HD so I can evenly split it up for the two OSes. Is there a safe nondestructive partioner that I can use for that? Anywho...

What do you guys think?

There does not exist a non-destructive partitioner for Macs.

YDL is okay, but it's Mandrake-esque "money money money" attitude annoys me. Ubuntu is where it's at for ease of use... and Fedora for Macs will be out soon.

The sky was deep black; Jesus still loved me. I started down the alley, wailing in a ragged bass.

Ah, but that's where you're wrong!

Oh, and an invite 'd be neat
That's a quote from someone on a Mac torrent site I'm a member of. Read it and weep. ;-)

Or you could use this, made by Kiwis so it must be good, right Omega?

Or even, if you trust the dodgy bastards at FWB, use this marvellous piece of abandonware
